Skye Edge Medical Centre

Building Link Design continued their successful long standing relationship with Admiral Construction on a Design/ Build project to construct a new 3-storey medical centre on a Brownfield site.

The new 3-storey building was constructed with a steel frame and holorib decking with reinforced in-situ concrete floors. The super structure comprised of brick cavity wall construction including cavity insulation and stainless steel ties and high level rendered panels.

Normal finishes for a modern medical centre were incorporated throughout ensuring full compliance with infection control requirements to all clinical areas.

The external areas are fully landscaped, new drainage was installed together with the provision of a new car park, perimeter fencing and gates.
