Flying Start Day Nursery: Finningley

Completed in 2009 this projected involved the extension and refurbishment of an existing children\'s nursery located in a former RAF building close to Robin Hood Airport.

The alteration doubled the size of the building and transformed the appearance to create a unique building that included many features such as open trussed roofs and large coloured circular roof lights which was a first for the manufacturer.

Flying Start Nursery recieved a Highly Commended Status for \"Best Commercial Projects up to £1 Million\" in the  LABC Awards for Building In Excellence 2010..
