Visitor Centre: Northern Racing College

In 2007 the NRC commissioned BLD to design a new visitor centre which created shop facilities, interactive museum, exhibition centre and first floor conference rooms along with kitchen facilities.

The building consist of a traditional construction method to the ground floor been built in blockwork however the first floor was to be constructed with more modern constriction methods using timber frame and Trespa cladding.

The project was completed on time and within budget and was formally opened in 2008
